Myofascial Release and Massage

What is Myofascial release.

What is Fascias

Fascia is a thin, web-like layer of connective tissue that surrounds and supports every organ, muscle, bone, nerve fiber, and blood vessel in the body. Trauma, posture or inflammation can create a binding down of fascia resulting in excessive pressure on the fascial web causing a chain reaction throughout the entire system.

What is Myofasical Release?

John Barne's metod of Myofasical Release is a gentle, sustained pressure that is applied to points of restriction, allowing the connective tissue or the bind on the fasical web to release. This process is similar to melting a stick of cold butter, where gentle pressure is applied to slowly sink into the butter and release tension.

Here are some of the major benefits of John Barnes style of Myofascial Release, and why its so helpful.

What is Cranial Sacral?

Craniosacral Therapy, or cranial sacral, is a holistic approach to enhancing well-being. It is a gentle, hands-on approach that aims to release tension in the central nervous system and correct the natrual rythmic flow between the cranim and the sacrum.
